FAQs
Is Southern Trails still Southern Trails?
Absolutely!
The name isn’t changing, and neither is our commitment to caring for your pets. You’ll still see the same familiar clinic, the same caring team, and the same focus on giving your pets the best care possible.
Is my appointment still happening?
If you already have an appointment scheduled, just plan to come in like normal unless someone from our team reaches out to you.
If you were scheduled with Dr. Bain, one of our other veterinarians will be happy to take care of your pet.
Who will be seeing my pet?
If you’d rather see a specific doctor, just let us know when you schedule. We’ll do our best to make that happen.
Is everyone still here?
For the most part, yes!
Our team is still here doing what they love—taking care of your pets. You’ll continue to see the friendly faces you’ve come to know, along with Dr. Flippo joining the doctor team.
Will my pet's records stay here?
They sure will.
Your pet’s medical records aren’t going anywhere. Everything stays right here at Southern Trails, so your care stays seamless no matter which doctor you see.
Are your hours or services changing?
Nope!
Our hours, phone number, and the services we offer are staying the same. You can keep reaching us the same way you always have.
Who is Dr. Flippo?
She also owns Riverfront Vet, but she’s excited to spend time at Southern Trails each week getting to know clients, caring for patients, and supporting the incredible team that’s already here.
I still have questions. Who should I talk to?
We’re always happy to help!
Just give us a call. Whether you have questions about your pet, an appointment, or the ownership change, our team is here to make things easy and help however we can.
Will Southern Trails Vet continue to be Fear Free?
Helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and as stress free as possible during their veterinary visits remains a priority for our team.
Several members of our team are Fear Free Certified and maintain their individual certifications. Every member of our team is committed to using gentle, low stress handling techniques and creating a positive experience for pets and the people who love them.
As Dr. Maria Flippo settles into ownership, she’ll be taking time to evaluate the clinic’s Fear Free certification and opportunities to support additional team members in becoming Fear Free Certified. Because she’s just beginning this new chapter at Southern Trails, those decisions will take some thoughtful planning.
No matter what, our commitment remains the same: providing compassionate, low stress care that helps pets feel as comfortable as possible during every visit.
